United we are stronger. The fans were brilliant last night, lets at least try and make it like that for every visiting team.
Spot on.
We're inevitably gonna hit rough patches. It's nights like last night the doubters need to remember when we do.

just wondering how many players joined a club and got relegated, then part of a successful promotion campaign back to the top flight and then winning the league and then amongst other things winning the European cup?
wiki quote:
O'Neill went on to play an integral role in Forest's golden era. He scored on his league debut for the club, a 4–1 win over West Bromwich Albion on 13 November 1971.[12] He went on to make a total of 17 league appearances that season, scoring twice, but could not prevent his side's relegation from the First Division in 1972.[12] However, the appointment of Brian Clough as manager in January 1975 was the beginning of a revolution for Nottingham Forest.[13] Under Clough's management, O'Neill helped Forest gain promotion to the top flight in 1977, won the league title and League Cup a year later,[14] followed by further League Cup success a year later.[15] He was dropped to the substitutes bench for Forest's first European Cup victory over Malmö in 1979 after failing to fully recover from an injury,[16][17] but he played in their 1980 win over Hamburg.[18]

The management team of O’Neill and Roy Keane have rekindled memories of a golden era at the City Ground and although the team has limitations, their work with the Republic of Ireland proves they are capable of delivering results that exceed the resources at their disposal.
Weaknesses
Forest have hovered around in mid-table all season and that is not deemed good enough by the owners, who forced Karanka out at the start of the year. They look like a functional team and little more, with others better equipped for promotion, regardless of who is in the dugout.
A little bit of lazy journalism there.

No kidding. Cheeky gets.
I hope the paragraph in bold sets them straight.
I thought we'd managed a top 8 all season. Is that mid-table?
We're bottom of the top 8 just about.
We were top of the bottom 8 last season.
We've largely by-passed the middle 8? Which, for me, is progress...
...but I didn't spend £25 million to be 'happy' with that.

SA. For me between 7th and 4th from bottom is mid table. For teams ending in between these position the season is over on the last day of the season nd they will start preparing for the next one in the Championship with a clean slate. In the past we saw teams ending up 4th or 5th from bottom followed by a promotion winning season, nd teams finishing just outside play offs one season nd get relegated the following. We all know that after all there isnt much of a difference between the majority of the teams in this division...just consistency nd some shrewed management, meaning a summer of three or four good signings could be enough for a team to jump from fighting relegation to a promotion chasing team.

Depends what story you want to believe, however you’d have to be pretty myopic to not accept that they were a contributory factor.
