What is done is done.

What is important now is that lessons have hopefully been learnt and we don't make the same mistakes again.

I think he has a bit of something. I reckon he’s worth another crack at it next year.

I agree Ozzy. It annoys me intensely when people write him off as a 'sicknote.' That's garbage. He's had two freakish long-term knee injuries. I'm pretty sure he didn't want those. It's not like he's been in and out with constant little niggles. He deserves some better luck and I hope he gets it.

He deserves a bit more respect from the fans too. Hes hardly started and some have written him off.

I value AKs judgement on him myself.

he still needs to get used to this league so will be liking starting again next season. he scored some good goals but looked lost in a couple of games. im not filled with confidence that he will be a success here but lets see.

I like Soudani in the few moments that I have seen him.

Get him 100% fit over the summer with a good pre-season and I think we will have a good player on our hands.

Crazy to write him off.

james mcfadden believes oliver burke hasnt been coached properly

McFadden told The Glasgow Evening Times: “The biggest thing that was stopping him was he wasn’t playing. The way he has been playing since he came up has been brilliant. You can see that he is developing a game sense.

“Some of his play has been, maybe not eye-catching, but he is holding it up, he is bringing others into play and he is making good movements that you would expect a striker to play.

“Maybe when Oli was younger because he was so strong and quick, coaches would say ‘oh, he is a winger, we’ll just stick him out wide. We’ll not teach him anything. We'll just stick him out wide and give him the ball'. And that happens to a lot of fast players like Oli who have an athletic body shape.

“I imagine he has not had an awful lot of instruction because of that. Just give it to Oli and he’ll do the rest. It is learning. It is alright telling a player do this and do that.”

I'd certainly say in the last 4 years or so he probably hasn't.

He was always a player that needed heavy coaching & as I've mentioned this season, concerning other players, some managers don't do that sort of thing these days.

A lot of young footballers fail to reach their potential because of it.

I did wonder about Oliver in that regard.  He's got physicality and pace to burn...so what's holding him back?

A bit odd with Colback but the situation is unchanged, his career at Newcastle is over and Im sure they want him off the wage books. What may be a fly in the ointment though is they could demand a transfer fee or we may have to pay up the remainder of his contract.

So question is, colback is currently on around £35/40k per week. Would you pay that for him at forest plus a transfer fee?

If he was on a free he would probably expect more.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR  :)
