Evangelos Marinakis And Co

Yep, these pundits dip in and dip out and comment about things that they really don't know about. Anyone who's properly watched all of our games, like us fans, can see that the team's performances were going down the toilet. It was the same with Ange. Some were saying he needed more time. The truth of the matter is that these guys simply had no idea, or had run out of ideas. The facts are that the more Dyche influenced the team the worse the performances became. Everyone of us could see it. These media boys need to wake up and see what's in front of them.

There's going to be a lot of finger pointing come the end of the season you feel.

Utter Work Nonsense. Nottingham Forest sack Sean Dyche. Nominated for Manager of the Month for January. Last 6 PL games: 2 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss. Wolves draw was undeniably poor. No goals from 35 attempts. But Forest’s best finisher is 34 and been injured since October. When you are on your fourth manager of the season, the problem might not simply be them, it might also be you - recruitment, culture and the right leadership from owner and sporting director. Marinakis has done a lot for Forest, but he's embarrassing them now. Edu also an issue. Forest fans deserve better than this poor leadership. #NFFC

The only bit I disagree on is the supporters deserve better because a lot of entitled idiots don’t.

It's not the true picture though is it?

We have just played 3 games, 2 at home against Crystal Palce, Leeds and Wolves.

We picked up 2 points when every man and his dog knows we should be picking up 7 points.

Winter also somehow forgets to mention Braga and Wrexham and a defeat to Villa although expected in the month of January. How convenient Henry well done.

Sticking up for your old pal Dyche.

What a total bell

Missing the point. Its not about Dyche

I love the ambition but the timescale to acheive his goals is to rapid, maybe a season in the Champiuonship will be good for the club to reset and plan for our return to the PL the following season.

Getting relegated is not good from any basis.
It took 23 years last time

Marinakis raised the bar on us fans calling us lacking ambition then appoints Dyche with 8 games gone.

That's not ambition. That's sitting the bed.

8 games and the best we could could come up with was Dyche.. that moment sealed our fate.

Appricate your comments Reds73 but if relegation is confirmed this season then we can as a club review lessons learned and reset with a plan, I am sure with EM behind this we would come back the following season a much stronger club.

I dread to think how much we've forked out on compensation this season. Will that still go against our Squad Cost Ratio calculation?

Not convinced myself. I could see him selling up.

Yes it does count. Paying off Nuno and his backrooom team (yes I know he found work but he will have had a payout) signing on fee for Ange, his backroom team, sacking Ange still paying up his contract, Dyche woan and Stone 18month contracts. Appointing Pereira assume he needs staff too.

Im pretty sure that adds up to the £10m we didn’t want to pay for Silva.

Sniffer, this is mainly directed at you because I know how much you will always back Marinakis and thats fair enough.

I will always appreciate the investment both financially and in terms of his efforts EM puts into the club and wider community. It is his club and he can do what he wants and yes we all make mistakes, there have been some things beyond his control too.

But I have nothing but anger and frustration about how the club has been run this season, it is a catalogue of errors that come right from the top. Many people are involved but again the buck stops with EM. My personal opinion is if Edu had never walked through the door we would be in a far better place, I cannot wait for him to be shown the door, the damage he has done may be felt for years to come. I cannot believe that the best opportunity we have had for a generation has been so carelessly thrown away, Im sorry but its unforgivable.

I'm in a minority here but I'm still not sure how so much of this can be laid at Edu's door.

It was no secret he was coming. Whatever issues he and Nuno had should've been addressed months before.

With regards to recruitment - many fans and indeed posters on this forum were delighted with the profile of player we signed in Kalimuendo, Bakwa, Luiz, McAtee and so on. Mostly young talent with great potential and experience in other top flights.

To me it seems too simplistic to just think giving Edu the boot will solve everything.
