Next Manager The Runners & Riders
Has Vitor had much success in European football?

We're somehow still in the Europa League!

Enzo Mareca for me would fit the bill, has PL expereinced and if we go down was top notch in the Championship with the bin dippers. If he was to be offered the job and was happy to manager us in the lowere division then thats the route and we will have some form of continuity.

This is exactly the problem with fans. Enzo Maresca will 100% not be taking this job, neither will Silva or De Zerbi etc.

Wassy why is then that so many on this forum push Silva if he is unobtainable? EM has ambitions for the club, playing style and stadium, we NEED a top manager/coach instead of out of work failures, this appears to be EM achillies heel.

Just read this, I wonder if he will also improve the mattresses in away hotels for our team...

Wolves really did gut their squad, sold Cunha, Ait Nouri, Fabio Silva, Agbadou, Arias, Semedo, Sarabia, Munetsi. Made around 150m euros and reinvested around half.

To be replaced by Arokodare 26m euros according to transfermarkt, jeez. Someone called Fer Lopez for 23m euros, Jackson Tchatchoua for 12m euros, Wolfe for 12m euros. In hindsight they were always going down weren't they.

That's more for the summer when he is out of contract and seems to have a good working relationship with EM, plus has been consistently overlooked for bigger roles so perhaps is within reach. Maybe less so after this season though.

Either way, he is in work right now and not coming to save us this season.

Your thinking Wassy is that other clubs are smaller then Forest as Silva has worked for both Everton (failure) and Fulham and I would say that they would be regarded as "bigger" clubs then Forest by most non Forest supporters. Siva has not beeen in the running for any major club in the past and your thinking appears to be based on the fact that Silva has worked for EM in the past, how did that end?

Remember when everyone did not want Wolves failure Nuno.......he was shit and crap and Wolves sacked him.

Same old people same old shit all the time..........management is about the place and the time and the resources and if things click anything can happen.

He also threw his toys out of the pram at Wolves just like he did here.

To be honest I really don't give a shit now who the manager is. I rate our chances of staying up at around 30%, never mind who the manager is.

There's a chance Pereira would be prepared to stick with us next season in the championship I suppose. If that's the case then we have the chance of having the modicum of a relatively stable summer and pre-season. Yes many players will want to leave but at least the manager will know what's he's got from the rest, beforehand.

Pereira not the only one in the running.
