Great result, good goals for Jesus and Awoniyi but terrible football bar 10 minutes in the first half

We are 17th playing away to a side trying to break into the top 4.

2 goals and a clean sheet.

Dreadful second half but Murillo, Milenkovic, Neco, Sangare all defended superbly, that's what you get from a Dyche team I guess. It didn't look good but we needed that badly.

Huge win.

Well done to all of the players and staff. They did what they had to do.

Thought our defence was on the whole, excellent.

So happy for Jesus and Taiwo. Cracking goals.

Case of 3 points being more important than how ever you earn them. Still think the performance and manner of playing does not mean Dyche is here if we secure safety.

Yep, needs must.

Also, worth noting we are only 8 points behind Brentford...

They owed that to all the fans that went away to Braga.

This is the kind of post which is why I'm not on here so much.

How about just enjoying the win?

Big win. Not the prettiest but it was similar to last season when we won 2-0. Two great goals from our Strikers. The Centre Backs were back too their best.

20pts from 15 games under Dyche
Another 20+ from the last 15 games would do nicely.

We do need a few players in over the last week of the window.

I did enjoy the win. It’s just really frustrating because we have the ability to play well and looked really  good for 10 - 15 minutes when we scored and took the game to them.

Hopefully we can get a few more points in the next few games which will make everyone feel a lot better

To be fair it’s no different to what Everton did to us at the City Ground

We did exactly what Everton did to us- defensively brilliant - Murillo and Milenkovic brilliant defensively- Murillo passing radar well off. Sangare was superb in breaking up play and ando aggressive. MGW ran his bollocks off and played a great ball to Awonyi. Aina struggled physically against shade but stuck to it and got an assist after some composed defensive work and ball carrying. CHO did brilliantly at covering his full back - another who put in an absolute shift.
Well played - not a great watch but they had very little threat too and loads of possession and crosses which led to almost nothing. Great away performance on top of a solid point against the leaders and a win away against our closest team below us. Cant really complain at that - play the kids on Thursday if needed - rest that 11 - get minutes into the reserves.
Got palace next - Wharton also sent off so will miss the match.
Starting to look like what we wanted - a more pragmatic approach to stop the rot of Ange. Spurs next three are Arsenal Man City and Newcastle. Can we catch them before we get the playoff games for Europa?
A bit more confidence in defensive structure we might start playing better and offering more threat! Well done today - especially after Thursday….
