We have a decent enough squad who are underperforming  because we have a shyte coach.

We have 11 PL quality players who were here last season who are being ground into the dirt.
We have 2-3 new additions who are trying their best.
The rest of the squad are nowhere near the level.
That does not excuse what I saw last night which was an unacceptable performance from both players and coaching staff.

Exactly, I'm surprised Sniff is joining the FIFA kids saying the squad players are class and all these managers are wrong

Not good enough
Victor
Morato
Boly
Savona (harsh but true)
Zinchenko
McAtee
Bakwa
Awoniyi

Injured
Wood
Luiz (may as well be injured because we can’t play him)

Try hard but not at the level
Ndoye
Jesus (never a lone CF)
Probably add Yates to that

Still hoping
Jair Cunha
Hutchinson
Lucca (please be decent)

Thats 12 out of 25 who arent starters. 3 Im hoping will turn out good. Its not enough to sustain 2 competitions

The caveat is I would expect a League 2 team to have made a better fight of it than we made last night.

Facts.

As benitez would say, oh wait what's he up to ?

Very harsh saying some of those aren't good enough Sal. Barely played 5 games worth of minutes.

Too many people pointing at Dyche as the cause when he’s only the symptom.

Many layers of issues at play here-
Recruitment quality (needed more oven ready players)
Recruitment timing (too late to bed in)
Edu arrival contributes to instability
Nuno’s behaviour and the effect on the players who clearly loved him
Behind the scenes turmoil (there must have been plenty!)
Ange….. f*****g Ange ….
Injuries…. Lots and significant ones. Aina Wood Luiz etc
And EM making wrong decisions (with hindsight).

Unfortunately, I disagree that we sack him now. That’s crazy; laughing stock material.
No, we have to spend now on replacements and hope this time they are good enough to keep us above the bottom three.

Then, in the summer, EM can speak to Silva Glasner or whoever and start again.

Worth remembering how big an impact the January window had on the team in the first season. Felipe, Danilo and Wood were vital, Felipe in particular. Plus lets not forget Ayew and Shelvey...

Dyche hasn't even had a window yet, had to use a squad picked for another manager (or two) Not saying we should just get Dyche's guys necessarily but a couple of players that he thinks would more suit what he wants to do might at least be enough to keep us up.

Whereas you sack him, probably in Feb and then another caretaker/new manager has a squad he hasn’t impacted.

Dyche has inherited a group of players who either regret joining the club or want to leave at the end of the season. This is what happens to team morale and the overall balance when you buy a new squad every other season.

Yes the football is shocking but that's inline with how the club is run.

I didn't say they are class neither did I say all these managers are wrong so we can put that to bed.

Look, 2 of the managers we have had this season were only here 5 minutes, that gets distorted.

Dyche has been here a while now so I think it's fair to judge what is happening under him.

Player's like Ndoye, McAtee, Luiz and Bakwa etc don't just become rubbish over night.

A good progressive coach (not Sean Dyche) will get those player's and our squad performing.

To be clear that is what I am saying.

If we get battered tomorrow he surely needs to go before the task of staving off relegation becomes too much for any manager. It is probable who ever does come in would only be a caretaker until the summer. Nobody really good who we would want long term is likely to come at this stage of the season in the position we are. One suggestion for a caretaker could be Warren Joyce. Knows the club and a lot of the players, had experience of league management and in my opinion done an excellent job with our under 21’s. He can’t do any worse than Dyche who appears to have lost the dressing room on the evidence of most of our recent performances.

Do you think there is a real possibility/chance Sniffer that Dyche goes? Would imagine EM isn’t happy both in terms of how we are playing and how many fans are feeling. We all know EM’s not shy of making decisions.

Valid points all over the thread. I am on the fence with "keep or let go". On one hand Dyche has a reasonable record at keeping sides up - we all knew this before his appointment. The other side is that the football is dross, morale is rock bottom and players must feel like the managers office has a revolving door.

My question is IF Dyche were to be releaved of his duties, who is available to take over immediately and would realistically want the job?
