You make an excelent point Sniffer, however these are other clubs and I am sure that most on the forum are only intrested in Forest transfers and we are mostly blind to any other clubs issues/problems.

A bit of perspective helps though no? What Sniffer has shown is how hit and miss transfers can be and how there are no guarantees. Given we tend to do more business than most then the risks for us and chances of there being poor purchases heightened

With a squad valuation of half a billion plus.

Reading some if these posts you would think that we were in League 1 with a fiver in the bank.

It is a fine line and we are never far away.

Liam Delap!

Jeez I’d already forgotten about him…

Maybe we can do a loan swap with them for Luiz… :Smoking:

I don't think it's worth listing players that haven't had a good start at other clubs and more appropriate posting the number of signings per club.

You'll always get signings that take time or don't work out but when you sign a new squad every other year it just upends the club.

The only season we haven't been in a relegation battle was the season we didn't buy a new squad.

There will be the mother of all clear outs this summer of some of the dross we have bought along with those who don’t want to be here or simply don’t want it enough.
Unfortunately some of our star players will go to fund it.

But we can’t keep buying a new team every year. We should only buy 3-4 first team players and maybe a couple of youth players for the future. We need continuity

We may need 5-6 first team players this summer iwhen we sell one or more of Anderson, Murillo, Gibbs-White

I think hard to judge the players we have until a modern footballing coach who has the chance to work with them. I hear how bad Luiz is, but Chelsea are interested. I hear how bad Ndoye is, but Inter and Atletico are interested. The players are better than they’re looking right now.

It is interesting Stirred. I'd previously been thinking that both players were duds but if these stories are right, it does make you think are they being used properly.

Chelsea are only interested in Luiz because they want a free loan with no obligation. We all know DL is quality when fit. We literally cannot play him because we would have to shell out the full fee. He knows he isn’t staying here and is not longer putting a shift in, why would he. Chelsea on the other hand, why not nothing to lose.
As for Ndoye I don’t believe those rumours, clubs looking for a cut price player. For what its worth I think he may be one of the few from this season who are still here next year

Ndoye, Bakwa, McAtee will all be judged next pre season by whoever the new coach is,
I refuse to believe they are as poor as currently seems

Yup. These types of players would most likely be doing well if we just signed a few new players. They have quality. Unfortunately our scattergun approach dilutes the quality and disrupts any stability.

The only people who need clearing out are Dyche and his assistants.

A modern progressive coach will get our squad performing.

For goodness sake our squad is valued at half a billion plus.

Like I said the other day you would think we were in league 1 with a fiver in the bank reading some of these posts.

Get a good progressive coach in and watch us go.

Dyche out.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.
