They do take time to settle. That's why you don't buy 14 of them in a window. That makes the settled, unsettled.

Back at you, who would you say is settled right now?
As for the above clearly far too simplistic to say give them time and they will come good. Thats why we have such a turnover to begin with. Sosa, Jota, Freuler, Aguilera, Shelvey, Scarpa, Turner, Miguel, just in the recent past, plenty more, none of them good enough.
You may say we have bought at a higher level and those with a potential to grow in value. Maybe, at least thats the plan. But any idiot can splash £30m on a young winger, there were dozens to choose from last summer. The trick is to find the right fit for the club and how we want to play. Which is tricky when you have 3 managers in 3 months with diametrically opposed styles. Thats is where you go back to having a strategy and yet again I don’t think we have one. Its Edu’s job to sort this stuff out.

I reckon half or more of our squad will be talking to their agents about getting a move in the summer.

He was implying that the new signings have unsettled existing players if I read it write? That was my query.
Of the new signings, I'd say Hutch, N'Doye and Jesus look pretty settled. Savona has done fine with what he has and Luiz has looked good on average when fit.
Which signings do you feel weren't good or necessary at the time? Only Kali and McAtee that haven't played much. Perhaps Nuno had plans to use McAtee more. Kali hasn't suited the system but perhaps he'd have suited Nuno better.
Difficult to judge the suitability post Nuno really.

Obviously depends if we stay up but who actually?
Murillo/Ando but think that would've been the case pretty much regardless. McAtee obviously not played much so cpuld understand him but pretty much anyone else not sure why they'd be desperate to leave if we stay up?

Yeah say Anderson and Murillo probably go, but they will also lead to a good amount of money to reinvest. The players are good and they must know that. They must also know a good coach with a pre-season with this squad could lead to a very good season. I don’t see many better squads. I think the coaching situation (and whether we win the European cup) will affect the enthusiasm for being here next season. We all know Dyche won’t be here, the big question is who we can get. I hope planning is well under way already, we can’t be scrambling like when Nuno spat his dummy out.

The problem for me is why wasn’t Nuno gone in the Summer. We stopped him from doing any media activity during pre season because of a falling out they kept quiet for too long.

Because EM was bending over backwards to fix the problem and sort it out. He didn't want all this to happen.
In the end Nuno wouldn't play ball and finally EM had no choice. A lot of time was lost but only because EM was trying to do the right thing at the time which was to keep Nuno.

That's now 3 managers sacked this season for speaking out against their owners in not very subtle ways.
I would strongly argue that EM gave Nuno the biggest chance to reconcile out of the 3 who got sacked. And, to be honest, both Maresca and Amorim were performing better than Nuno with their squads (I am in the Nuno tactics got found out early last year camp). Think people need to give our owner a lot more credit for the way he runs our club, people seem very quick to follow the media narrative on things.

Percy has just posted an article stating that Edu’s position is at risk…

I know there's a lot of hate for Edu but I think this is daft. I thought he was appointed to set the longer-term strategy so why only give him six months (officially anyway) in the role?
We'll never make progress if we rip everything up every few months.
