Wood had knee surgery over Christmas, cant imagine he's back anytime soon. No wonder there was talk of another striker.

It was obvious he wasn’t improving, all this back o n the grass nonsense. Lets hope they’ve managed to fix him.

I really don’t want Awoniyi as the option when Jesus is gassed. For whatever reason I don’t think Kalimuendo is in the plans.

The Everton game is game week 19, after which the slate gets wiped clean for suspensions. Anderson, Neco, Milenkovic and Morato are all on 4 bookings. If all can get through the Everton game, they'll avoid a ban. But get a 5th booking in the game and they'll be suspended for the Villa game. Morato less so but losing any of them for Villa would be a great loss.

I’m in the camp where we go for the win against Everton and West Ham with our best 11 and rotate for Villa. Im quite happy for the first 3 of those to be rested for Villa anyway. We have to rotate.

Looking at our season objectively, we've lost three of our best players from last season Wood, Aina and Elanga. Take their contributions from any side in the prem and they'd struggle. Then add in 4 managers, one of who was a clown, and you get to where we're at.
