I've not been paying attention to Spuds. What's gone wrong for him there? Why are they looking to sell?

If a loan becomes an option I could see us being interested, mainly due to the Europa squad thing. I'm not sure whether he'd want to come here and be a backup to CHO/Hutch though.

He has more of a goal threat than any of our wide players. He has more pace and greater versatility than any of our strikers.

My view if it was possible it would be mad not to try for the loan (option to buy) and in turn loan out one or two who have misfired so far. Club trained so we gain a squad space in Europe, no brainer.

I cant see any club shelling out major money for him this window. He's not a big 6 player so which other prem club will have £45m quid sloshing around?

Bournemouth could have £60mio to add to their summer haul, and a Semenyo sized hole to fill. 

Be surprised if Brennan would want the (permanent) move though. Coach expected to leave at the end of the season too. Loan and a chance to impress Iraola so he buys him at his new club could work!

I just cant see how BJ can be top of our priority list this Jan. I reckon Dyche will want more full back back cover firstly and then another out and out no9, not another small winger who will cost £45m.

We will know it's a done deal once his dad buys a Palace scarf.
