Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany
Excellent Forest Focus podcast today. Darren Fletcher singing Dyche, Woany & Stoney praises. Right at the end Fletcher let on that Woany had privately told him how, in the days before they were all appointed, he dared not dream of coming back in case it all fell through. These lot really really want to be here. That'll do me.

Nicked from Twitter:

Prior to Sean Dyche’s appointment, Omari Hutchinson had played just 52 minutes of premier league football this season.

Under Dyche:

- 420 mins
- 2 assists
- 2.67 shots per 90
- 2.48 chances created per 90
- 3.05 successful dribbles per 90
- 6.1 duels won per 90

There was another one on twitter, at 2-0 up going into the last 10 minutes, our previous 2 managers would have been bringing on Morato for a back 3 to hang on to what we had.

Instead when Sangare hit the 3rd we had 7 players in the opposition 18yrd area.

#Dycheball

(By the way I exclude our most recent ex manager from that stat simply because the chance of ever being 2-0 up under him was zero).

And when we WERE 2-0 up under him.....

Long read in The Guardian about the Dyche tenure so far. Also mentions - as had been said on here - that Syrianos has been promoted to Sporting Director (though there's not been any official announcement):

I was with Ian a couple of weeks back and he tells that story all the time now.

The fact of the matter is that despite some questioning our recruitment Sean has never had a squad packed with so many good players and so much talent.

Lets see what he can do with it.

He has certainly made a good start.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Exactly this. We were told by Spurs fans that Nuno was rubbish yet look what he and his coaching team helped is achieve. Everton fans and others slating Dyche and his style but forget the circumstance he was working under and who he had to work with at the time. I’m interested/excited to see how we go with him in charge and what he, Woan and Stone might achieve in what is possibly the best opportunity they have ever had.

Does anyone know if the kicking to the Trent end first half is the opposition choice or ours on the coin toss?

Does anyone else feel like this article ended rather abruptly?

I feel like there was another paragraph coming about how it could be different...

Sitting at home in the comfort of my armchair it was reassuring that the opponent wasn't attacking the goal in front of their fans for a change. But I guess the Trent end goal can be intimidating to an away keeper, so I can see it both ways.

It was the oppositions choice, because we had the kick off.
Just as we did at Anfield, making Liverpool attack the KOP 1st half
