Wrexham away.

Horrible tie. Bound to be televised though due to their Hollywood owners and the potential for an upset.

Christ on a bike I've just remembered who plays for them now.

The media will be insufferable with this.

Count me in too.

My Welsh blood stems from Wrexham.

My grandad was from there.

Im thinking we need to be out of this as soon as possible, field as few 1st teamers as we can get away with and hope we go out to a team where we dont get embarrassing headlines. Dont want Derby or Leicester for the same reason. Sorry to be a spoilsport.

Personally I don't like this type of attitude and mentality and don't want it infesting our squad.

I hope we go far in the competition and hopefully one step further than we managed last season.

Agree, very strange take that is, wanting to lose a game.
I don’t get it at all.
Gives chance for squad players, not getting a lot of game time, to keep in the rhythm

Friday 9th Jan 7.30pm what a horrendous time.

In response to the above comments obviously I don’t want us to lose any game but you know why I suggested it would be better if we went out of the cup. As it is Wrexham will be our 3rd consecutive away game in 6 days which is brutal.

Then we have to factor in the league and Europa and an increasingly likely Europa playoff round to come a few weeks after. We don’t need yet more games.

To add to the above, should we qualify for FA cup 4th round and have a Europa playoff our February will look like this:
7th Leeds away
11th Wolves home
14th FA cup 4th round
19th Europa play off 1st leg
22nd Liverpool home
26th Europa play off 2nd leg
1st Mar Brighton away

Really shows how important this next batch of games are, to try and build a cushion away from the bottom 3 so we can do what Spurs/Utd did last year in the later stages of the Europa (if we were to get through a few knockout rounds).

Shows how lucky they were that the competition was so bad, I'm still hopeful that Leeds will collapse at some point. Most of their fans still want the manager out despite the last two games.
