Well done Scotland that was a great watch at the end.
Cant wait now for the moment next summer when Chris Wood slides in the winner for New Zealand to knock them out in the first round yet again.

Those late goals in the Ireland and Scotland game were quality.

Have Scotland won the cup?
That is the impression I got when I flicked through the papers this morning.

Ah fair play to them. McTominay's goal was incredible, the move to Napoli has been the making of him.

Stunning night for Wales' injury hit side thumping North Macedonia to earn a play-off place. Credit Bellamy as well for selecting a 19 year old kid from Cardiff over the established Mepham, big call. Switched over to Scotland at 2-2. Bet Tierney can't believe he got upstaged!

Any confirmation on AFCON squads yet? I presume Ivory Coast have picked Sangare/Boly?
I saw something that Aina and Taiwo were in the Nigeria provisional squad but that was 55 man so not sure when that comes down.

Anyone know when Aina would be available to play for us in the prem. Can he be added to the squad at the point the Jan window opens (Jan 1st), or only at the end when it closes (2nd Feb)?
If he's over his injury, would it be beneficial for him to get some game time at AFCON?

Good question, you can play new signings made in Jan straight away so I would assume Jan 1st.
Obviously this chat is all irrelevant if he's still a month or two away from match fitness.

Massive risk allowing him to go to AFCON but can the club stop him if he wants to go?

New 25 man doesn’t have to be named until 1st Feb

Nope, don't think so. They might even take him, just in case he gets fit later in the tournament. Maybe they have another decent RB...
