It's far to early to be writing players off.
As put in the other thread, new recruits other than Ndoye all missed pre season with us. Lack of match fitness is the issue, tough for McAtee Kali and John who have had not competitive games to have an impact.
That said the opponents last night would likely struggle in the Championship and the 3 above hardly made a compelling case.

It's Dyche who keeps questioning fitness levels of the whole squad not me.
Is Dyche telling porkies?

Add it to the long list of questions that need to be asked at the inevitable inquiry at the end of the season.
How a team seriously competing for Champions League have gone to a team second bottom in the space of a close season.

The fact that Dyche mentions fitness levels in every interview he does suggests to me that its considered to be a big problem. Albeit I suspect that Nuno's approach to games meant that a supreme level of fitness wasn't the number one priority for him. So when Dyche suggests that he's not questioning previous coaches, maybe that's the actual truth, not just him being diplomatic.

Yeah we consistently had less possession than most last year and didn't press much. Add to that a lot of the guys came in late, it makes sense. (although most of our first team is the same as last year when fit). It probably hindered Ange even more given his style is built on running to excess.

Some serious questions to be asked regarding our recruitment.

Both can be true. Both can be problems.

Just got back from Austria. Great hosts and really good couple of days. If MGW scores pen, then we are talking about a very controlled away performance where they barely threatened. He didn't and we're not.
Instead we are understandably looking at the negatives.
However a clean sheet was important and will.be going forward.
Loved the stadium, even though it was small, Graz fans were very good. Shame a few kids flicking the froth off their beer caused an unseemly punch up just behind me. Embarrassing the club with the melee that followed.

Hahaha good old handbags on a European Jolly. Idiots.
I have to agree and disagree with you though Zic. Yes if the pen is slotted or the Yates header goes in then it's probably a different conversation. They did have a very tight disallowed goal though at and Sels also had to make a couple of saves. I'm not slagging the performance because it's an away point. I just don't think they were that out of the game.

Hahaha he's such a consistent starter although it doesn't change my point.

Unfortunately the bloke who actually was in goal had a mare too. Effectively giving their striker an assist, he got very lucky with a marginal offside and then spilled the next weak effort.
Yes I am writing him off after one game, sorry Ive seen enough.

Not handbags on this occasion. Young kids bunking off school were visibly upset as claret flowed.
The win v Dirtyleeds made the 7 changes well worth it.
