Seems not one of our strikers have been up to much in the league so far. Think its time for Kalimuendo to have his chance

I would imagine if Wood is fit, Dyche will play him, probably been desperate to get his guy back!

I do agree Kalimuendo needs game time, surprising he's somehow ended up below Taiwo.

Tbf watching the Porto game, all those balls up to Jesus that he couldn't do anything with, can see why Dyche would like Wood (or Taiwo). I wonder whether your man Kali is any good at holding the ball up?

I don't actually think Wood is much good at holding the ball up , it's a weaker part of his game i'd say especially for a big lad. Having said that i don't think i've seen anyone get fouled as  often when trying to shield the ball as him and get so little in terms of free kicks in his favour.

Wood is outright poor at holding the ball up. This is what I couldn’t get my head around after we signed him before someone pointed out that isn’t his game. Jesus is much better as an out ball, both for him to collect and hold up / lay off and obviously as someone who can run channels or in behind.

Let's be honest Man Utd have been S**t on average for 18 months or so.
I expect a result.

That's true over 18 months on average.

But they look like they might have turned a corner.

Just looking at their last 5 Prem games, they've won 4 (vs Chelsea, Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton) and lost 1 (away vs Brentford). 

In the same time (and I know 4 of them were under the last guy, so fresh starts and all that), we've drawn 1 (Burnley) and lost 4 (Sunderland, Newcastle, Chelsea and Bournemouth).

In those 5 games, they've scored 11 times and we've scored 1.

Not to be doom and gloom. I'm hopeful and I'm relieved we didn't have to play in the cup this week.

I'd love a result, but I'm certainly not expecting one. Not until we can remember how to score goals.

Not a great sample size but specifically based on long balls against Porto I'm not sure Jesus won a header or kept possession. Actually N'Doye was surprisingly effective at this I thought. I'm referring specifically to the ability to win headers from long balls as opposed to anything else.

Was reported on September 12th that he'd be out for three months so I wouldn't expect him to play this year.

Hopefully he won't be included in Nigeria's AFCON squad and will stay with Forest in Jan/Feb.
