He’s only had a week and it’s still 3 goals better than last season so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt.

We really could do with Ndoye, Hutchinson, Bakwa and Kalimuendo contributing more.

N’Doye is one of our higher contributors this season in terms of G/A.

Hutchinson and Kalimendu haven’t been given enough minutes to make a meaningful contribution (except Swansea away where Hutchinson was our best player IMO).

Can’t really comment on Bakwa to be honest.

So is MGW but he is getting a lot of stick too.

I suppose that’s down to expectations.

I expect MGW to contribute more than he is personally.

Will we see Ange back at Celtic (which will save us a few bob in compensation), Rodges to Wet Spam, Nuno then goes back to Wolves when they sack the present coach? Welcome to the managers PL merry-go-round!!!!!!

Great watching Dyche Stone and Woan on the touchline today, non stop encouragement, barking directions, the 3 of them doing it all together. Complete contrast from our previous manager.
Not saying that furious arm waving makes a better coach, just it looks so much more involved and that it means something to them.

They really work as a team… whilst sorting out the 3 subs it was woan who encouraged Sean to bring on Omari too

Anyone caught the Sean Dyche masterclass series?

There was a 4-4-2 discussion which looks very similar indeed to how he's set us up

Coaches always revert to their tried and trusted when in a difficult spot.
Dyche has coached this system for as long as he has been coaching in the Prem.

Anyone got any inside views on how training has improved and how morale and confidence are?

definitely seeing the striker pivot press and 2 ball carriers in the centre mid slots. Openly discusses how they ask an awful lot from their wide players where their fitness is key to the system working. Same with full backs. Seen CHO been on a fitness regime on socials, Ndoye already has that ethic.

It must be pretty exciting for Dyche, this really is the chance for him to prove whether he is a top coach or just a good motivator/organiser of a defence.

He's done the overperform with bang average or worse teams, also those teams have eventually regressed to where you'd expect. Never had this kind of budget/squad quality or even close to it. Can't imagine he's had many England squad players or Brazilian internationals to work with before.

It's always been the question, could he put together a team perhaps in the mould or Mourinho or old or current Arsenal and actually win trophies. From a neutral perspective, it'll be interesting to see the results. From a Forest perspective, it was the best combination of giving us the best chance of avoiding relegation plus a hint of ceiling if it turns out he can raise his team with a better budget.

So far, I would say its been close to par of what I would've expected. Beat Leeds, drew with Utd, lost to Bournemouth then 4 points in the Europa. I think it would've been more exciting with a win vs Utd but still I'll take it so far for the first month. I have confidence we will grind it out and gradually move upwards.

On the plus side, it is convenient that in the cyclical nature of football, direct style and set pieces are back in fashion (arguably led by Nuno's results last year). Good time to have a set piece/direct defensive specialist as the manager!

Nice piece on the new management team in the Telegraph today, usual Percy fluffy nice stuff but a good read anyway. Lots of focus on squad unity which is what you might expect. Whole squad have been doing extra fitness training last 2 weeks. Expect, CHO, Wood Luiz back. Aina back early January ahead of schedule, he had better not go to AFCON.
Oh…Edu wanted Mancini…..
