i like the sound of Colback and Yates, even Colback, Yates and Yacob, I quite like the idea of creating a brick wall, see if we can nick something, more offensive options from off the bench if required

Brick wall.

Yates.  Immense tonight.  A brace.  A screamer for the 2nd.

A new star from the Academy has arrived.

The last two games has shown me that the club is better off without Karanka.
The young man has stood up to be counted.

I know we all get a bit excited when it’s one of our own but I think Yates is the type that doesn’t have to play well to improve things.

Watching last night you could see his communication every time he closed someone down- he was telling others where to be like you’d expect an old head like Watson. And like for Brentford’s goal he was livid, it really matters to him. That type of passion is infectious...

The other thing is he’s a unit! We might even score a few more corners

Needs to work on his body position receiving a pass though- a number of times he slowed the play when it needed switching as he was facing the pass rather than open himself up to keep it moving. Nit picking but if we’re going to be counterattacking he needs to be more aware.

I watched him a fair bit at Scunny -he started a bit slowly there, can’t complain of that with us!

Not sure about that SA.

I wouldn't exactly call it a screamer!

Great to see young Ryan involved though and grabbing his opportunity with both hands.

could have done with him earlier in the season for games like millwall and preston.

He just needed his chance.  He's been with the 1st team training a while.  He takes it - BOOM!
