I’m not as confident that Ange will find a new job though.

Ange is on a shorter contract though so it wouldn't be as much of a payout.

He will worm his way into longer, there pals. Hes bound to be lenient with him

The big man has spent a fortune to get us into Europe and the ways things are going we're not going to be in it for long. Now its the international break EM has time to look about for someone who can use the talent we undoubtably have to the best of their ability and stable the boat.

Lol. The big man and stable boat? Are you having a bubble.

Question, why does EM always look to an out of work manager when making an appointment? Obviously easier than paying compensation and prising someone out of their club, but having spent £200m this summer it’s an interesting thought, why not invest in a manager?

Yes stable. When we're winning we are stable. In my opinion EM hired the wrong man and we needed someone who roughly played the same way but with a better plan B tactic. So let's see what happens in this supposed meeting.

I personally think he should be given another 5 games. He really hasn't had any time to do anything with the players except game, recovery, game, recovery etc.

If nothing changes in 5 games, make the switch.

I wasn't happy with him coming in, but I don't like the idea of not giving him some time on the training ground. Was an awful time to take over. Cheers nuno you pleb

Logical and probably fair. Problem is that if we did that and nothing improves then it could leave us deep in relegation battle and struggling for Europa league qualification.

On the other hand, there is no silver bullet. We could sack him and replace him with another manager who struggles. We have no god given right to be in this league after all.

Plenty of managers out there who have worked in higher leagues than Scotland and Japan. His europa win was a total fluke

Actually. Give him 6. Until the next break and ending on Leeds at home. 4 league games (3 at home) and 2 europa. Only 11 league games into the season and 4 europa. Plenty of time left to rescue the season.

Makes some sense. And we do like a sacking after beating Leeds at home, done it twice.

He needs to be gone now. The issue I see is that it’s similar mistakes after mistake…. That is coaching. The same things (like set pieces) showing up here that showed up at spurs… it’s not accidental it just shows that he can’t do it. How hard is it to see that whatever he’s been doing at corners is not working? It’s mind numbing…

Yeah think its the right call. Can't see it working out but equally there's no-one out there waiting to take over and sacking him now does make us look pretty silly.

Spend the next month lining up a replacement and then if we keep losing sack him. Maybe one win will unlock everything and suddenly make us great at defending set pieces somehow.

Imagine appointing your mate because someone else pissed you off even though they were right and you have a head of football operations but you just appoint your mate and tell coaches how you want them to play.
