Don't want to see any hope we lose today so he gets the sack nonsense.

I can’t see us winning this game because it’s one of the most difficult away fixtures in the league. Having said that, I’m not sure we’ll capitulate to the point that the big man sacks Ange. I think it would take a huge loss like 4-0 or 5-0, or for the players to give up and not respond. The only other thing might be conceding soft goals from set pieces again. It’s hard to know what Marinakis’ reaction is likely to be, despite all the media speculation. Although there is the international break coming up

Since promotion, our league games against them have been…
3-4 loss (away)
1-3 loss (home)
2-3 loss (home)
3-1 win (away)
1-2 loss (home)
0-2 loss (away)
Since the first season back, our games with them average 5 goals a game and the last 2 we’ve taken the lead before losing.
I think we were royally screwed last season with barely any injury time - there should have been at least 5 more minutes on top of what we got, and we’d have drawn. (And I’m pretty sure the season before in the 2-3 loss, Taiwo should have had a pen and the refs screwed us again.)
I hate playing them as I think they’re properly dirty, Joelinton usually needs about 8 fouls before the ref has the nerve to book him, and I also can’t stand Tindall.
I’ve not seen 1 fan want to lose to get rid of Ange, yet (but then again, I’ve also not been on Twitter much) But we shipped 7 goals against them last season when our defence was one of the best in the league. So I fear the same or worse today.
Their midfield 3 usually has our number and their team is pretty enormous so set pieces are my biggest worry.
Hope I’m wrong though and this is the start of an all-time great turnaround for Ange.
You reds!!!!

Ange’s record for Spurs against Newcastle isn’t great either. He lost at SJP 2-1 and 4-0 and lost at home 2-1 with one 4-1 win. Between our record at Newcastle and Ange’s, it’s not looking promising

Can't see us getting a win here, they seem very well suited to exploit our current weaknesses. Big, tall strong players and quick wingers. Football is a funny old game though! Could today be the day we put away a few of the chances we create? Hoping it all clicks and we all go away to the international break with some positivity.

Official social media channels have virtually ceased any output other than an acknowledgment there is a match today. Its all very odd considering how early in the season.

Peter Banks is reffing, Rob Jones is 4th official and Kavanagh is on VAR.
Banks is normally OK so it's fingers crossed...C'mon You Reds!
