Anyone else getting bored of the media narrative Ange is still waiting for his first win and the gloating implication that our owner can’t wait to sack him.

He’s had 4 consecutive away games, I wonder if thats the first time in our history thats happened. OK Swansea was a clusterxxxx but just a freak, Arsenal was predictable for any team, Burnley any away draw in the PL is a reasonable result and weve just gone toe to toe with a serious European heavyweight and looked the better team.

Late goals are clearly a concern but Im definitely not seeing a sinking ship. Lets hope for the win tomorrow tough game after a gruelling week for sure but thats why we invested in the summer.

I've picked up that there's an underlying sneering about Ange in the media and it's becoming a bit tiring for me now. We concede a goal, its what Ange's teams do. We score one, well we would because of Ange. I can see now why the guy got so prickly with the media last season. It just doesn't let up and people really want him to fail.

Apart from the odd informed comment, which are few and far between, there's been very little appreciation so far of how he's taken a squad with many many new faces, most of whom are new to the prem and the country and in two weeks played 4 away games, two of which are Arsenal and Real Betis. P4 D2 L2 from a standing start for him, going from the school run to the Emirates in a couple of days. He's learging on the job, as are the players but for spells in the games so far we've looked pretty decent. Very little appreciation of that out there imo.

I've said it before on here, the media that surrounds the premier league is real bollocks and they really do know S**t all about what's really happening.

Joe Cole in pre-match did some analysis that was very good. He talked about a team in transition between 2 styles and highlighted where we we caught between the two - this pointed out the intended way we are playing which explains some of why we are not getting the wins we possibly deserve. 

Tomorrow is a big game for Ange and I hope we get a positive result.

Interesting that Ange only mentioned Wood and Jesus as two strikers to pick from. A lot of money on another winger or 3rd choice striker.

Hopefully we start putting away the chances that we’ve been creating under Ange. If we do, we could absolutely smash a team before they inevitably score against us. I really hope this is the game we really get started and send a message

Just had a glance. Maybe 200 single seats around the ground, so all but sold out given a lot of people won’t book if they can’t sit together.

£65 for Brian Clough Stand one I clicked on. At a strange kick-off time for a televised match when we have a large number of fixtures, they could have been a little kinder in pricing.

It’s one for another thread, but there’s nothing wrong with going in general sale. I’m a member but can’t buy tickets for people to go with unless it’s in general sale, because I need tickets for non-members, isn’t that right? So you need general sale for people who go occasionally to be able get tickets. And that’s potentially a lot of people. 

And £65 for terrible facilities is not really fair value in this day and age. Last time I went I spent all of half time rammed in the concourse queue just to have a pee and not be able to wash my hands in hot water. Bigger stadium, better facilities, reasonable pricing, more will come.
