TBF most of our new signings are untried in the premier league. I had never heard of Ndoye or Kalimundo, certainly not Sevona. Until the transfer thread I had not heard of Bakawa either. Hutchinson was overpriced at 37M!. I did rate JM tho. Luiz was a solid signing but can't do anything from the bench. Have we bought a load of players just on 5 minute clips on YouTube.............
im guessing most of us on here hadn't heard of them either.
Not looking forward to Arsenal.

That's no reason to leave them sitting there or put the one that you *do* put on in the wrong position.

No I agree, I was posting we should have made subs earlier. At least let them have a go at it. Ndoye didn't do anything to get hooked and I thought he was having a decent game. JM on for MGW and sangare off at the first opportunity for Luiz could have made a difference but we wont know now. The point I was trying to make was have we bought wisely not that we should have left them on the bench..

We'll never know if we've bought wisely if the manager never plays them!
Luiz, McAtee and Hutchinson have varying degrees of PL experience. Kalimuendo had a great season in a mid-table side last year. Jesus had a great CWC for the South American champions. The pedigree appears to be there.

N’Doye was the only one breaking the lines and the Shammers were vulnerable to long ball over the top.
After he went off no-one was available to do that. CHO, Morgan and Sangare were off their game. To take Wood off at a corner was mystifying too.
Side to side. No penetration. Clearly the ball over the top was working so why not kalimuendo to run onto passes. Luiz might not play because of Nuno but I hope that is not the case.
Either way we were dreadful and until the last ten minutes so were the Shammers and then we fell totally apart.
Really terrible game today.
I would like a re-do.
Chicago: Feeling flat.

Im in complete agreement with you, maybe I didn't write it in a way that was understood which is my bad. They all should have been on
to at least show what they could do.

Luiz might not be fit but Yates is. Baffling subs and timings. Up until the first goal we looked the most likely to win #seeingpositives

I genuinely agree

We were very poor but some of these comments are plain embarrassing.

If it comes out that MGW and Sangare had some terrible illness, that might explain how they played.
I’m baffled at what happened today. There’s off days, and then there’s that, against what was the worst team in the league by a mile.
If not for Sels, we could have lost 7-0.
I thought Sels was brilliant, Williams was ok, Milenkovic was ok and Anderson tried his best. Everyone else was bad to absolutely terrible.
Even a half fit Luiz should have come on to replace MGW or Sangare.
What a disaster of a match. EM will be furious and I don’t blame him one bit.
