Do you think it’s likely that Nuno stays at all?

Fingers crossed. It'd be a shame if some stupid clashing of egos derailed what could be an incredible season.

Agreed because egos is exactly what it is.

If true Nuno needs to get clarity on his lines of communication with EM too.

It should be possible to sort this out but needs people to back down and settle differences and Im not sure I see that happening.

Thanks for the info Sniffer.

Whats annoyed me here is Nuno has put his own grievances above the team and that is not a good trait at all in a manager no matter what the issue, he would expect players to put the club first.
COYR!

The fact that no statement of support came out yesterday makes me think Nuno’s days are numbered. Marinakis and the club are usually very proactive in issuing statements

They did brief the Post and Dorsett that they had no plans to sack him.

I hope this is true.

We've all worked with people that we thought were cunts at first then became pals or at least appreciated their value  :Funny:

The problem I can see is that everyone has gone storming off down the Edu path which we didn’t even know was a thing until this time yesterday.

However the strain is in Nuno’s relationship with EM which if it was still strong there wouldn’t be an issue with Edu, or at least less of one. We all know things weren’t well at the end of last season, the question is has EM forgiven Nuno (he did get a new contract) or is there major work to be done there which this incident cant have helped.

If you want a conspiracy alternative angle, has Nuno never forgiven EM for the incident after Leicester? Was the contract to stop him leaving post season which he accepted with a smirk thinking he was now in a position where he could engineer his own exit with a payoff?

A trip to the headmaster’s office should do the trick hopefully.

To paraphrase Stirred’s previous wording and apply a pun to make a tabloid headline, this is all a bit “unedufying”.

Or does Mendes want Nuno out of Forest because Mendes and EM fell out?

KJ and GM are very much worse enemies after being close one upon a time! uncle George has always looked after Nuno and it obvious to me that this is wider than just Nuno v Edu… very quiet today though…
