Plus the performance on Sunday (especially the 1st half), was sensational.
Early days of course, but everything’s looking better than I ever could have imagined.
Surely we won’t risk all of that now?
You have to wonder if this was a story from just after that interview which has only surfaced now.
Or maybe EM didn’t like the interview and there’s been a fall out since?
That is possible given EM's volatility but he's not daft and you'd think he'd understand *why* Nuno was frustrated.

If there isn't anything in this it'd be nice if the club came out and said so. We do like a statement after all. Not expecting us to do so though.

Should be a press conference today anyway?

The club came out with a statement about Cooper, but this doesn’t feel like that yet and was a vastly different situation.
But ahead of what’s bound to be a volatile match this weekend, it would be reassuring if we got a tweet from Percy to set the record straight.

Yes I was thinking that too - rubbish the report via Percy.
And yes SM - Nuno press conference will be today.

Going back to Leicester last season and EM coming on the pitch.
People brushed it off because of Taiwo but I lip read what EM said, anyone who speaks Greek could easily understand it.
Now Nuno opened his gob when he would have been better keeping it shut.
There is something bubbling away under the surface but is it so serious that Nuno could be replaced?
I honestly don't know and neither does anybody else who I have asked in the last hour.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

EM's proud but he's not stupid. And it would be stupid to make this decision based just on pride.

Thing is he signed a new deal since then which regardless of what happened vs Leicester, makes you assume that it had been resolved otherwise why offer him the new deal.
So any animosity must solely be related to this interview, hopefully it's just old news.

I think everyone knew the post-Leicester pr spin about Taiwo was utter b*llocks.
But since then he’s signed his contract and although later than he’d liked, the signings have come in and we might have one of the best squads we’ve ever had.
I’d be heartbroken if we risk throwing it all away.
I just wonder where this story has come from…
Our side?
Or maybe someone looking to rock the boat from someone that doesn’t like us. Maybe a team that played a European competition last night that we play in 2 days time? Or someone p*ssed at us from north London?
Grasping at straws. I just don’t want this to be anything other than complete garbage.

Was just reading the Steve Cooper thread as I'm sure there was talk of Cooper being on the verge of being sacked a few times before it actually happened - and indeed that was the case.
Was also interesting in hindsight to read some of the reactions when Nuno's name emerged as his successor!
I'm thinking this is nothing and will blow over.
But I have put a small wager on Nuno to be first manager sacked just in case. Odds on Sky Bet were 5/4 which is VERY short but presumably that's just because others were doing the same as me after that report this morning.
