I seem to remember suggesting Nathan Jones and Paul Hart to you a year ago, think that would of been an excellent appointment, just for the style and footballing philosophy and knowledge of the lower leagues

You did, we'll see how they get on at Stoke, was quite a brave appointment by them.

Paul Hart is shrewd, if he even senses the owner is going to stick his c**k up on twitter, he's gone

do we know about this guy in the anorak who sat next to AK on AK's bench, was his todger in or out, I think we need to know really, it changes things

I agree with that. We can talk about managers & players all day long but I tend to think a lot of our footballing problems come from a level higher than that.

The reason I hope the rumour about Karembeu coming over in the summer to run the football side of things at director level is true.

I'd certainly be open to that. Top football background & experience in this country.

I would certainly welcome Karembeu with open arms.

If he comes then I hope it will be a full time appointment and not him going backwards and forwards to Greece between two jobs.

He is highly regarded but has many interests.

I also thought it'd split opinion more than the club expected it to and that's also proven true if Twitter is anything to go by. I'm not an advocate for sacking any manager but it would interest me to see a poll from the supporters as to whether they already want MON out vs how many wanted him in the first place, I expect both would be close to 50/50.

How much are you betting that Marinakis has got a keen eye on how Marco Silva is doing at Everton, I bet he's watching with his fingers crossed.

Revisiting this a couple of months later, sadly MON has done absolutely nothing to change my mind on the first point.

Felt I was probably in the minority on here at that time in thinking MON was a poor appointment, didn't really have anything positive to contribute so I stayed off the board, didn't want to come across as a constant moaner! Came back on today because I wondered what the general mood on here is now towards MON and RK, still too soon or clearly not the right choice?

I’ve witnessed the majority of O’Neill’s games and he’s clearly not the right choice. I’m counting down the days til he’s gone.

Still too soon.

I’m in the ‘still too soon’ camp also...
but today’s performance has certainly contributed in nudging me ‘to the other side’ - an abysmal showing.

I don't get why folk moaning about MON's appointment think that the club are all of a suddenly gonna break the trend, and employ someone better if MON goes.

Jokanovic turned us down once. We'll likely end up with someone like McClaren lol.

Green Man, how awesome would it be if we ended up with Billy Davies?

You’re still wanking over the cheat then?? Please tell me why he hasn’t had a job since he left Forest??

Have you actually witnessed any O’Neill ‘football’??

By wanting MON you open the doors for him back Green Man.

EM cares about results, not opinions. Fact is Billy has never finished outside the top 6 in any full season he's had with 3 clubs.

Be careful what you wish for.......
