I mean you might want to google Forest vs Anderlecht 1984, Steve before you make that comment. Or hundreds of other proper scandals and bad decisions that have wrongly denied teams but I guess that’s football
And Forest being denied a place in Europe because of the behaviour of some Liverpool fans.
Ironically palace also qualified during that period too. They don't have much luck. I really feel for the fans as I know id be devastated if it was me but my days can you imagine if it was us do you thinknyhe media would be so supportive and feel sorry for us like they have palace?
The club messed up big time.

They chose to ignore.
They haven’t got a leg to stand on
Parish saying emails went to info@cpfc which is something like their ticket office or SM account.
And nobody who runs that account thought to forward them on? Nah. Not buying that.

So that instantly shoots down Parish's argument.

Is Parish a bit thick or naive or something.
He is just as bad as Textor for failing to deal with the situation.
What sort of a clown owner allows stuff like that to happen?

Parish argument was all based on sympathy from the football world and community. He knows the rules and he also carried on taking cash from Textor to reduce debt. He cannot have it both ways.

Reducing debt isn't a decisive influence on a club he will try and tell you.

Palace fans have a petition to UEFA. They’ll be writing poems next.

Everything is framed in the media. Palace just ‘got an email’ (although Parish admitted they got several in fact and ignored them all!) while Forest ‘sent UEFA a letter’. Did we actually get a quill out, scribe a letter and affix the royal seal before sending it by emissary? Or did we indeed just send an email too?

I was reading the comments section last night of the Palace article and the one about MGW on the Athletic, we are not very popular.
I was surprised the amount of people (and maybe it was mainly Spurs fans) saying it was ridiculous that we were kicking off about MGW getting tapped up. Seems like there was a lot of misunderstanding of how these clauses work which is fair to a point. However, was surprised how much hate we were receiving in that instance.
Just shows how unpopular we are at the moment. Ironically given this happened to Palace with Olise there'd be some sympathy but maybe they don't have that to spare right now. Hopefully its just a July thing and it calms down during the season.

Palace don’t have a leg to stand on from what I can see. But if you wanted a conspiracy theory, since the CAS appeal is final, if it were us appealing then we could at least control the argument. Now we can’t, so we have to rely on UEFA to make the case for expulsion. Hope they don’t drop the ball.

Can’t be doing with the Athletic anymore, their comments section is increasingly filled with Americans, fans of the big 6 and the rest are self righteous wankers with a very limited understanding.
Think we have a moral argument with MGW but will probably lose. Don’t really have a moral argument with Palace/Europa but will probably win. We had a moral argument with PSR and lost. That's how it goes.
On the BBC football website right now there are 4 separate headlines all involving us. Some day.
