I thought Aina and maybe CHO were going to run down their deals and I'm very happy to be wrong. Great we are keeping our core together one more year.

I do worry about replacing Elanga though if he goes which is looking likely.

Thought Sangare did make an impact, we did look better and more controlled with him. We completely lost the plot once he went off both vs Leicester and West Ham. Looked worse when he went off vs Chelsea too.

Yes actually that is right it was when Yates came on we conceded in both of them wasn't it.

Yeah that is a fair point.

Sangare gave us 45 minutes of "here's what I could be about" against Chelsea, then faded and was replaced. 
Still more questions than answers.
- Can he stay fit?
- Can he show the above form regularly?
- Can he sustain a performance 60-90 minutes?

Would be great to say yes to all 3 by next May.

But we are all understandably very wary.

Was thinking earlier about Sangare next season.

Is he too expensive to just use in Europe?

I thought he looked ok in his run at the end of the season. But it also coincided with our worst run of the season. And he didn’t do anything that good.

I don’t think his style works in the prem. At least it hasn’t for us. But I think he could be brilliant for us in Europe.

I just don’t see him being the player we need in the prem next season.

I think his style would suit a possession-based team which builds up attacks slowly. That isn't us.
