When the ‘loop hole’ wasn’t closed we knew the prem didn’t care. All we can hope is that we maybe able to sell the netball and women’s teams or do something similar? How many company’s are there in our structure at the moment

I just don't get it, this loophole literally just invalids the rules entirely. May as well just get rid of the rules completely if that's the case.

Anyone get the feeling that this loophole will be closed by the time we get around to wanting to implement it?

The clubs had a vote on it recently and voted to leave it as is.

Rumours that Isak wants to leave Newcastle this summer. I do hope that's true. See how their insufferable fans like it when one of *their* players is linked with a move away.

Also would make it less likely Elanga would be desperate to go there.

Saw an idea mooted for a pre season tournament between Forest Newcastle Villa and Everton. Prize money £100M to each club for entering.
The PL cant call cheat because that’s basically what Man City and Chelsea are doing right now.

Kepa moves to Arsenal for £5m. Am sure Chelsea signed him for something like £75m.

Sunderland are starting in the window very fast
Enzo Le Fee - £20m
Habib Diarra - £27m
Noah Sadiki - £15m
Reinildo - Free
Djorde Petrovic - £21m
£83m spent and probably still looking for at least another 5 players.

Petrovic is a good keeper and I'd have liked Diarra couple of good ones in there.

Don't see the main stream media giving Sunderland and Burnley any grief over the amount of players brought in and money spent when first promoted to the PL, Forest however got from most media outlets!!!!!!!

To be fair we did sign 23 players that summer, not the 10 Sunderland are saying. Yes I know we had a very limited squad at the time but we did go somewhat over the top.

I think there is more an acceptance in the last few years that the way we played it was the only way to survive, Burnley and Ipswich have spent some money but not as much as Forest did and still got relegated. Its go big or go home unfortunately and fair play if that’s what Sunderland are trying.

By the way out of context maybe but its interesting to see the team we put out for our forst pre season game vs Coventry in season 22/23. I wouldn’t fancy the 2nd half team to survive in League 1.

Forest first half XI: Dean Henderson; Joe Worrall, Steve Cook, Moussa Niakhaté; Giulian Biancone, Ryan Yates, Jack Colback, Nicholas Ioannou; Joe Lolley (Oli Hammond 37'); Lyle Taylor, Taiwo Awoniyi

Forest second half XI: Jordan Smith; Fin Back, Loic Mbe Soh, Jonathan Panzo, Aaron Donnelly; Cafu, Braian Ojeda; Xande Silva, Oli Hammond, Alex Mighten; Nuno da Costa

On the subject of mad transfer policies this made me howl. Apologies for the betting company link but their social media really is epic.
