International Football - England - Euros - World Cup Etc
Definitely something off with this England team in my view. Look at Senegal last night, a meaningless friendly but they gave it 100%, the whole squad seemed totally together and united and you could see what it meant to them and their fans.
England were a a bunch of talented individuals but that was where it stopped.
Finally, no MGW isn’t going to get a look in under Tuchel.

Watching England play in the last 10 years has been like watching Jack Grealish transition under Pep at Man City.

Anderson booked 17 seconds into the U21 game

Impressive

Even more impressive that he managed to control his game after and produce a solid, disciplined display as a dcm.

I agree, everything went through him for England.

It looks another strong u21 team with plenty of first team experience. Will probably catch the Germany game as that will be the biggest indicator of where this team is at. Certainly a better watch than the senior team

Genuinely I would have kept Lee Carsley in the senior team. He was building a team spirit and didn’t give a crap about certain people with big egos that currently seem to rule the roost.
But for some reason people said he wasn’t good enough because he hadn’t managed a big club and made a balls up against Greece despite him admitting he tried an experimental line up that was widely lauded at the time.

He didn't sing the national anthem either. For some of our press that's a bigger crime than losing matches.

Nah, his tactics were also ropey. Just because Tuchel doesn't so far appear to be able to set up the team well doesn't mean Carsley did. Even before that Greece game, the other matches the team got better results than performances. Also, he didn't appear remotely capable to manage the likes of Bellingham, which is surely the most important thing (and what Southgate was so good at).

So now we aren’t getting performances or results? He doesn’t seem like he is able to integrate Bellingham in the team either, have a suspicion we would play better without him.
Im calling it now, stick with this tool we will qualify for the world cup by beating some east European farmers but we are going out in the opening round of the finals, we ain’t even making the knock out stage.

Yep, we're trying to squeeze another tournament out of, what is in effect, Southgate's squad. This group of players failed miserably at the Euro's last year, even though we got to the final somehow.

Yeah I'm not defending Tuchel, he's shit too!

I think we should wait for the real business to start before writing people off. I am not reading anything into the recent games or performances.
