I thought it was 1st May. EM's moving of shares to the blind trust was announced on 30th April.

The deadline was 1st March but Forest were granted an extension as Marinakis was already in the process of putting his shares in a blind trust,

I would also be amazed if other clubs don't challenge the decision in court. Rules are rules. Unless you are Man City, Chelsea or Man Utd of course.

I cannot see that UEFA can let Palace off, they will be opening themselves up to problems in the future with the number of owners with more than 1 club. They only have to say, the rules are the rules and everyone abides by then, end of story.

They need to decide quickly, the Europa Conference 1st and 2nd qualifying stages get drawn in less than 2 weeks, Forest will be keeping an eye on who keeps progressing through.

I can't believe Uefa will allow their competitions to be de-railed by a matter such as this. There'll be some dodge made, some relaxation given in return for an undertaking and everything wil be swept under the carpet. Uefa will just annouce that in their legal opinion Textor does not have any control over Palace and the whole thing will just go away.

The Guardian have said that Textor’s blind trust offer has been rejected because it didn’t happen before the deadline. Apparently they’re not going to be lenient, but we’ll see what the outcome is. It would be a shame for palace to miss out like this

They need to be sorting things out soon as it could impact a number of clubs' transfer window plans - ours being one of them.
