A lot of the midtable clubs are one bad recruitment window from trouble.

Brentford - looking like they could lose their manager and some their best players... but on the other hand they always tend to recruit well
Bournemouth- similar to Brentford in that both manager and players could be poached.
Wolves - look like losing their best players - will they be able to recruit better.
West Ham - pretty poor last season and have shown little improvement under potter.

They would be my choices for clubs who could go down if not the promoted three.

I agree with sniff that we could see a resurgent everton next season with new stadium and owners. I also think both man utd and spurs will be better and unlikely to be anywhere near as bad next year.

Villa could have some financial issues and may need to sell especially as they've missed out on champions league.

Villa apparantly need to sell 3 before 30th June.
Martinez and Ramsey 2 high profile players who are for sale

We don't know who we will lose yet so I'm not getting complacent.

A lot of people will be looking at us and suggesting the combination of Thursday euro nights, the stresses on our squad and the loss of MGW will be ruinous to us.

Had a nose at Wolves season in Europa (obvious parallels) they finished 7th again that season despite playing thursday - sunday they got a higher points tally, although they missed out on qualifying for the Europa again that season losing to Chelsea on the final day of the season...

They failed to win in first 6 matches in the PL however as they came to grips playing the qualifiers in Europe beating Pyunik and then Torino and losing to Braga. they didnt win a game in EPL or the cup until 28 September.

I think thats going to be the thing, the initial adjustment.

Was that Nuno's side, or had he left by then?

Sorry this was under Nuno, the side that finished 7th playing similar way (swap Elanga for Traore and Wood for Jiminez)

So Nuno should be aware of the challenges that lie ahead then.

It's good that Nuno has this experience in very similar circumstances. The recruitment team have got a job to do.

Speaking of recruitment, I saw an article yesterday about Man United with a picture of Mbuemo and Cunha. The headline said something positive about their transfer strategy and it made my blood boil. Transfer strategy = buying the best players in the league from clubs smaller than them with no PSR repercussions. Does my head in.

Going to be an interesting season for Bournemouth. Hujsen is gone, Kerkez is likely to follow and another of their defenders is wanted by PSG. They'll have plenty of cash available but will have to spend it wisely.

I think Brentford might be in trouble. I think the Muff will keep their manager now because I thought Raoila might have gone to the Spuds.

Would be lovely if Muff get punished for cheating PSR but I guess it was only us and Everton. The league is a joke. Especially Man Utd were firing tea ladies and then spunking 100+ million on Mbueno and cunha. I mean what is the point of PSR if it isn't enforced. Citeh seems to have got away with everything.

I hope we rip up the league next year. I don't think we will but I really hope we do. Very important summer coming up and also I would like us to get Truffort befroe the Muff because that would be funny.

Chicago: A little bitter.

Was thinking the same.

Hujsen, Kerkez and Zabarni, that's 3 of their back 4 gone or going.

Think I read there's interest in Semenyo. Be surprised if no one tried to sign Kluivert.

As you say, they'll have tons of cash and they tend to recruit well.

Sounds like they'll get Truffert (who we've been linked with) - terms with the player agreed, fee left to sort but it's about £15m so it'll get done.

I hope they have a disaster of a summer and an even worse season. CAN'T STAND THEM!!!
