How does that uefa coefficient for clubs work? If we do well in the Vauxhall conference cup does that mean we’d get more money when we get in the Europa / champions league?

Last 5 seasons’ performance if the club in European competitions count to seedings. Last 10 seasons count for revenue distribution. 

You get points for winning games , drawing games in the league and progressing in the tournaments. So there’s a long term aspect that doing well in the conference can help us in the future.

This Conference League could look and seem a lot more attractive if they changed the bloody name to something else.

To be fair it’s called the Europa Conference League.

It will still have some decent teams in, the projected pots have teams like.

Fiorentina, AZ Alkmaar, Sparta Praha, Royal Antwerp, Rayo Vallecano, Mainz, Strasbourg, Panathinaikos, Besiktas, Genk. Then potentially teams like Shakhtar Donetsk, Legia Warsaw could drop down if they lose Europa League Play off.

Panathinaikos are in Champions Leage qualifiers.

I don't know where so called Journalists get these lists from.

AEK and Aris have qualified for the Conference qualifiers from Greece. PAOK are Europa League and Olympiakos and Panathinaikos are Champions League (Olympiakos direct to groups).

Good explainer and up to date qualifiers on Wiki, shows which round of the competition the have to play, seeded teams etc

It’s bloody confusing though, teams being knocked out of Europa qualifying still to come into the mix too.
