Well done palace - has knackered us though- conference league for us now which is a disappointing end. We have had no favours from anyone in this run in. Hope we take it to last game though.

If we beat Chelsea on the final day it will probably condemn them to 6th and open up that route into the Europa League.

So even if we lose tomorrow it's all on the last game. I hope the club are aware and make sure the players are aware.

We can still qualify for Europa League by finishing 6th. At the moment we are in the conference league. Still a lot to happen in league though as I wouldn't guarantee Citeh getting too much in their last 2 games but we need to do the business.

Only if they finish 6th or 7th.

If they finish 7th, 8th gets into the Conference League. So we're playing for us and Brentford or Bournemouth potentially on the final day (if we beat West Ham)

Whatever happens it's been a fantastic season full of great moments and memories. Incredible achievement to be in Europe at all next year. Forest have made us dream again.

However, I’m not sure Mr M will see it that way.

The fact remains that if we drop out the CL and only make the conference- as seems likely- we will have spunked £75m in revenue which will massively affect the rebuilding budget and plans.

I expect EM’s ambition will still be as strong as ever so I think this will almost certainly mean the departures of Murillo and/or MGW, who I had thought would stay.

Whether that would be a bad thing for the team’s longer term development is another debate, but there’s no shying away from the fact that recent missed opportunities will have a big effect on the personnel next season.
