I hope he's rewarded with a new contract.

I've been p*ssed off at recent results, and really frustrated with performances, selections and in-game management for a while, but over the season, Nuno got us overdelivering - which is a huge part of my recent disappointment.

We're 30 points better off than last season with 2 games to go, won twice as many games and he's got us into Europe.

Hope he and EM can get back on good terms as this summer is so important for the club.

Trying to put a non-partisan hat on...

Slot, ok winning the league in your first season is a massive achievement, absolutely. This however does have to be slightly tempered with the fact he inherited a squad with the leagues best defender and best attacker. He also has the best no.2 goalkeeper. Liverpool's points tally would also not be enough to win on previous seasons and they have been the most consistent in a league of inconsistency. 

Nuno - The improvement candidate. There is no doubt what he has achieved is huge, taking the club from relegation battlers to european contenders WITHOUT huge transfer activity suggests brilliant management. A cup semi final to add. 

Howe - The finally won something candidate. Newcastle have been starved of success, I've no doubt we all recall the Keegan season where they bottled it bigger than we have. To win a trophy is always a big achievement, it has to be, but its especially bigger when its the first in 70 years. They will also qualify for the UCL again i'm fairly certain on that. Plus making Jacob Murphy look like a PL player takes some coaching. 

Frank - The tiny club candidate. Little old Brentford eh? they may not have achieved anything and went out in the FA Cup to one of the worst teams in the championship but its only little Brentford, they were in League 2 once. 

Periera - The 2nd Improvement Candidate. I liked Gary O'Neill, seems like a decent chap but his race was certainly run and this guy has improved Wolves, not to the point where he should win this but its nice to get a mention, isnt it?

If we secured CL then it was definitely Nuno, I think it's a toss up between the top 3 now. Lets see how it looks after the final two games!

Always been that way. Remember in 1981 Bobby Robsons Ipswich were utterly outstanding, 2nd in league, UEFA cup winners, FA cup semi finalists and played the best football by miles. Manager of the year? Ron Saunders of Villa who won the league.

The nominations today are for the Premier League awards and they're voted for by the public so I think there has been different winners in the past including those who haven't won the title.

Marco Silva told them not interested apparantly.
They offering 20m a season to manage Al Hilal

I though nuno had done the saudi thing. Presumably he has a few mill in the bank now for that.

I want him to stay, but if they’re throwing that money around and he’s tempted I should hope we get a big compensation amount.

If sniffer is right about the exchange on the pitch, nuno would be stupid to turn down 20m a year

His contract runs out in 2026 so wouldn't be alot. Probably his year remaining salary
