It's perspective isn't it? If we'd been mid-table all season and put on a storming finish to clinch seventh we'd all be hailing a brilliant campaign.

Probably because it’s not prestigious enough to attract the next level of player and adds an overhead to manage with a manger who likes to keep a small tighter squad

I reckon many prospective players might actually be put off by having to play in it. I couldnt tell you one single team that Chelsea have played in it this season, such is the lack of interest.

Sausage, I know we've had a joke of late about my insecurities,  but this constant churn of positivity at a hugely negative moment of our season seems just as ridiculous as you found my glass half empty commets.

I think we’re all gutted after today, I don’t think it’s a case of bottling it I think the players are totally knackered. I think where we are is probably about right, we’ve been incredibly lucky with injuries in the first half of the season but our lack of transfer activity in the January window has come back to haunt us. We do not have the strength in depth to cover any injuries or players that need resting, not buying has probably cost us a CL place.
