Think part of the temptation for Elanga to Newcastle was to link with Isak but if Liverpool are going all out for him in the summer be surprised if he turns it down.
Think we may have a few comings and goings this summer, the key will be to retain the team spirit we currently have.

Was he ever interested in leaving? We never heard anything did we?

He left Man Utd so he could play games. He's done that and he could be playing in the champions league next season. What's not to like?

I noticed that on the recent PL highlights reel for saves of the season. Sels I think was there a couple of times but we had forced a brilliant save on 4 or 5 occasions.
I can only assume this is fake news and an AI manipulation because according to most expert pundits on Sky and Takshite we only play low block, never cross the half way line and all our goals are lucky flukes from a long ball.

If you mean a 40 yard pinpoint pass from MGW is a long ball then I agree.

Funny innit................ we play a 40 yard pass out to the wing and its a long punt forwards. Liverpool or City or Arsenal play the exact same pass and its a beautiful defence splitting pass.

Personally, I dont give a shit what its called. If it ends up being a goal for us then it is what it is (as a certain former manager would say)

Interview with Taiwo on SSN today at an event he hosted (and paid for) recently. More about his faith than football to be honest but watching it just makes me want him to succeed even more. He seems such a nice and humble guy and his religion is clearly massively important to him.

Hopefully some divine intervention can guide his shots tomorrow.

It will be interesting to see whether we keep him next season. Personally I think we should, if we were to qualify for Europe we will have a lot more matches and so players like him will be really important. Even if/when we do sign a 3rd striker, he will still get much more game time. Both starting the lesser important games and off the bench as we're forced to rotate a lot more. Plus Wood will be a year older, so he's only going to need more rotation.

We all know there is still a player there, if gets more games next season and doesn't get injured I expect him to rekindle some of his old form.

I'd definitely keep him. Hopefully with the extra matches we'll need an extra body next season. If he goes then we have to sign two and we've not - for whatever reason - managed to sign one in the last two windows.
