That’s very true. It’s easy to focus on the end goal of Champions League/FA Cup and forget to enjoy the ride. I’m of an age where this is the most successful I’ve seen the club. This will probably end up being the “good old days” that I reminisce about in the future. The progress we’ve had under Nuno is unbelievable. I don’t think even the most optimistic fans would have predicted a season like this. If we use the money and status from being in Europe well, we could continue developing the club from strength to strength. No one can question the ambition of the club and we’re probably way ahead of Marinakis’ schedule. It’s important to think where we were only a year ago to see what progress has been made.
