He doesn't. He was basing that on the seriousness of Man City's charges vs. the ones us and Everton got points deductions for.

Yes but Man City have around 120 charges.

They could get found guilty of one, ten, twenty, fifty, hundred, nobody knows.

So until we know how many there are then I can't possibly see how anyone can base their opinions on anything.

Yes. I think it was more "If they're found guilty their punishment is likely to be whatever."

We should be hearing something relatively soon. I reckon international break.

It's interesting that the bookies have CITEH at 14/1 for relegation - I'd settle for a 33 point deduction so we finish in front of them.

Due to be announced in March.
Then I guess there will be an appeals process should City want to appeal whatever they are given.

It's very convenient that this season they're not in with a chance of winning the league. So the PL can give them a comparatively big points deduction - say 30 or something like that - which will knock them out of Europe for a season, make the PL look like they're serious but not really do any lasting harm to Man City either.

That would be my guess too. 25 points would leave them 16th but 5 points above the drop and realistically not in any danger yet looks a tough punishment. Then City stroll to an FA cup win and the Europa League next season, handshakes and smiles all round, Masters looks smug and carry on everyone.

Pep very confident, I'm not sure they are going to be found in breach for any punishment.

I think they will but of course I am only guessing.

The charges go back years to when Mancini was in charge and right up to last season.

That is a very long period of time and about 120 or so charges.

I just can't see that how they can get away without a punishment.

There's no way city wouldn't get absolutely slaughtered if they are found guilty of all charges but they won't get found guilty of all charges.
