My understanding is no. One team would need to drop to the competition below. 

How that would work if we were both to qualify for the Conference League I have no idea.

Havent one of the two sides signed up to some blind ownership with UEFA (or summat like that). One of the stipulations is there are to be no transfer arrangements of any kind, including loans, between the two sides until the beginning of next season (September I think!)?

I wonder if EM is one of the preferred bidders for The Hundred.....perhaps he would be interested to buy a stake in the Trent Rockets. He certainly likes to be fully across the sports wherever he's based.

I'd certainly welcome it. Greater influence in the area around Trent Bridge and the grounds. Could be fun!
