Yes he was excellent and fully deserves the praise he is getting.

Agreed.

We need to support him.

Sels really stepping up and looking every inch like a PL keeper.

A couple of excellent saves last night, didn’t realise at the time that free kick from Eze was heading for the top corner. Think he properly has his confidence up now.

Do wonder if there was a reason Samba was there though?

To check out his competition. Maybe we have enough now based Sel's last 2 games. Difference maker and massive contribution to the 3 points last night.

I want to mention Sels.

He has stepped up and he is looking like a top keeper now.

That save yesterday against Brentford was so imporatant and it was a truly great save.

It was a great save Sniff.

I thought he looked just a tiny bit flappy when he came out for the odd contested cross though. He needs to improve his physicality.

I mean the ball was kicked straight at his face and he knew nothing about it. But a saves a save ha

It's the keeper equivalent of a striker scoring one off his arse. They all count.

He saved it full stop.

It was a crucial point in the game, very crucial.

Michael Dawson raving about it here.

Proving himself to be more than a stop gap emergency that we brought in last season, he is without doubt a PL level keeper.
I do think he could be more commanding in the area though, a question for the summer is we can we do better but Matz gets this season for certain.
