We don't create that many chances. How often do you see the ball go across the ground into the box from a winger or putting somebody through 1 on 1?

Both those happened against City but in general it's pretty rare.

Chris Wood has 9 goals CHO 2 then a few players have 1.

Top of the assists is Anderson with 3 and Elanga with 2.

We absolutely can't carry on without our number 10 and/or an attacking winger hitting bigger numbers.

And yet we're 7th...... Something is going right when we all know certain players are playing within themselves and not at peak form and we are still in the top half of the table. I do take the point that we need more goals spread around the team, hopefully that will come. Just enjoying the ride this season

22 points - 5 more wins needed to be safe - 22 games to get them- away at top 6 completed. Enjoy the season!

Yes mate absolutely. I'm in the view that as long as we are comfortable we have improved.

We are going to have to dig in between now and the new year.

Yeah we're averaging around 1xG per game or less. We have until recently stifled most teams, not sure why we decided to try and match up the top sides in recent games.

Play to your strengths, we don't score enough from midfield or wide players so we need to limit chances.

The point being that we can’t maintain this type of position without goal contributions being made beyond Wood, who is not infallible but has performed beyond expectations.

Merseyside Derby today called off. Though they're nearer the coast you have to wonder if our match will go ahead or not as the wind is forecast to worsen during the day.

90 MPH winds already being recorded in Wales, so its going to be bumpy to say the least.

To any Trickies that come on this forum heading over to Manc today, travel safe guys and gals. I dont think there are any relatively safe ways up to Manchester TBH. Certainly not over the Woodhead Pass. M62 going through the moors on the highest peak will be dodgy as well.

BBC weather is showing gusts around 40mph for Manchester around kick-off. We want this to be on before Amorim gets them sorted and some new players in January.

Not sure they have any money after spending 25m to sack and replace Ten Hag.

Nuno is bidding to become just the second Forest manager to win his opening two league fixtures against Manchester United, after Fred Earp in the 1909-10 campaign.

Let’s do this.
