Tough game this.
One for Elanga to show them what they missed out on.

I’d be tempted to pack the midfield a bit more and go with:
Sels Aina Milenkovic Murillo Moreno Dominguez Yates CHO MGW Anderson Wood

I don’t feel like Elanga has been on top form and I think Anderson will be up for this one. I think we need to win the battle against Joelinton, Guimaraes and probably Tonali as they really drive Newcastle forward

Get at them with pace and we will win, they have a slow defence and we saw in the cup with our first team we can be better than them.
Don't fear them.

I'd probably lean Dominguez over Elanga but also would be happy with the attacking choice too.

Elanga has had great success against a very similar Newcastle side twice and has started looking more dangerous recently.
Tough decisions for Nuno.

Would it not be better to bring Elanga on for the final half an hour, when their already slow defence are also tiring? Elanga, Jota and Sosa could hit their defence hard and fast. If we can contain Newcastle for the first hour, we can nail them in the final third of the game.

We have to be really smart on Sunday. From my experience Eddie Howe's teams love to "push" the rules as far as they can. Can see heavy challenges, diving and timewasting from them (if they get the chance). Howe (and that attention-seeking idiot Tindall) will absolutely try to rile things up, especially with the ref we've been stitched up with.
But we can also use this to our advantage. Joelinton, Dan Burn and Schär have all had 4 bookings so far - so hopefully we can get at them. (Anderson, Dominguez and Williams have the most bookings for us with 3 each.) I just hope we do enough so that Howe's "dark arts" and the w***** ref aren't a factor because I really think we can make it 4 on the bounce.

Think Elanga has great returns Vs Newcastle from an FPL post I've seen. Worth goal/assist bet with a guimaraes booking lol
