Its a 2 tier system with matches overseen by referees who aren’t up to the job. That leads to inconsistency how games are officiated and different punishments handed out accordingly whether teams are part of the elite or not.
Not sure if that’s corruption or just skewed.

Answers Usernames question as to what the FA do now. Offend again and the fine gets bigger even though it was acknowledged to be a minor offence. No biggy for EM but it’s another amount that counts against PSR.
We are a better team now, its time to rise above the crap, stop making excuses every time there is a decision we don’t like and act like an established and professional PL team.
In all fairness Sal, on this occasion, and it is noted in the FA Commissions paper detailing the incident, that whilst Nico committed the foul, the brawl was started by Levi Colwill. It was also noted that one of the Chelsea players (un-named in the report) appeared to slap one of the Forest players. It goes on to admit that the Chelsea staff in the technical area reacted the most aggressively and the Forest players involved were primarily acting as peace keepers.
What does the FA want? Players that have commited a foul to be subject to physical violence without being allowed to defend themselves or be protected by their teamates?
This ruling is complete and utter bollocks!

Indeed. And implicit within the ruling (and therefore much of the weight of evidence against Forest as wilful aggressors) is the panel's opinion that Chelsea's players & staff were understandably provoked by the dastardly 'Mr' Williams tripping Cucurella into Maresca.
I rate our Welsh multi-tool as highly as anyone but the panel are assuming diabolical intent allied with the split-second technical skill required to launch an entire player at a moving human target, like a shithouse Roberto Carlos.
The panel mentions Forest's reference to the slap on Morato but gives zero credence to a deliberate physical blow to the face, evidenced on camera, while giving full credence to a malign assumption about the intent behind William's foul (a type deserving of a sanction no greater than a yellow).
Forest are basically now the plump freckly ginger kid who cops the blame every time someone rips one out during the head's morning assembly.

Yeah agreed but we are the ginger kid who was pissing around and making farting sounds in class before. So when the big kids are smoking fags and starting fights teacher still blames us.
We need to grow up a bit and rise above it all if Im not stretching the analogy too far.

I agree with you again Sal, that we do need to rise above this kind of thing.
But my question in my last post remains the same.............. What happens when one of our players commits a foul and is then subjected to physical and verbal abuse from opponents, both on and off the pitch? Do our players just shrug their shoulders and watch on from a distance, in the knowledge if they get involved the fine the club will face will be significantly more than the last time? Or, do they rally around to protect their team mate by getting him out of the situation, as what happened at Chelsea, but then be deemed by some faceless w****r who has probably never been involved in any kind of scuffle or altercation in their lives, to be acting in an improper manner? Even in common law you have the legal right to defend yourself or others if the threat of violence or harm is evident.
As I also said previously, this is a load of bollocks by the FA (Faceless Arseholes)

I agree with you about the FA (would use a different word to faceless). Having read their judgment it was another travesty.
But actually yes, Neco should literally have got up, ignored the fuss and tried as much as possible to walk away. Then its the Chelsea players who get done.
In the heat of the moment thats less easy to do but we really need to try harder to accept decisions that go against us.
Ultimately how are we in 7th place?
By arguing every decision? Where did that get us last year?
Or just maybe we are better because we are simply playing better football. As the tifo said, Block everything out and play your game.

Knowing EM he will sign a cheque for 200K and tell them to keep the change.
