All the home games so far this season have been like that I think.
I would rather we returned to action against one of the so called big guns but Palace it is.

Really looking forward to the game on Monday, if the crowd get behind the team from the off we should have enough to win... could do with a Forza display to set the tone...
I guess we all know a certain striker is likely to score for palace....
Here we go.....

They have struggled in midfield this season.
Doucoure is out and Wharton is carrying an injury and according to their fans has been really poor.
Add into that the loss of Olise and we really need to take it to them.
They aren’t a side with loads of pace, so we need to play higher, be brave and positive.

These are the games where Nuno really needs to show how good a manager he is, in my opinion.

If MGW is injured the team should be
Sels - Is he fit?
Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno
Yates, Anderson
Elanga Jota CHO
Wood

Still not 100% sure re MGW pics on display.
There have been many pics recently of him walking fine and driving.
His girlfriend apparantly replied to somebody saying he doesn’t need the boot and crutches, it’s just to speed his recovery up.
Anyway if he isn’t 100% right, no point risking him at this stage of the season, then the above looks the best option we have.
Jota as the second striker rather than the 10

It's Taiwo time again. Grind them down with his chaos. Wood to clean up. I would play Jota in the MGW role if needed. JWP is suspended so Yates and Anderson and Jota.
I would love our big Nigerian to get his season going against this lot. I think it might be a good time to try. Not two strikers are the same time though and I think it's also time for Elanga and CHO to get that run out.
Chicago: Going for the throat.

Apologies, the international break has thrown me out of sync, I thought he’d already served his ban.
Dominguez for JWP then. I suspect Nuno will play Anderson deeper and give Jota a start.

I think to beat Palace you have to win the midfield battle and there’s no way that Wood shouldn’t be starting.
