There's always a foreign coach like the Bournemouth and Palace managers who have come in and done really well.

BREAKING: Leicester City on the verge of SACKING Steve Cooper 5 games into the season with players “bewildered” by his tactics and team selections.

You mean the palace one place underneath Leicester on goal difference?

I agree with Pap that he was mad to take on the job in the first place.

He would have been so much better off taking the Sunderland job for example.

Yes I thought Sunderland would be a perfect fit for him. No prima donnas in the dressing room and huge fanbase but one that like us has got used to years of underachieving and therefore lower expectations. If he could galvanise that support and generate a team spirit in a dressing room that wasn’t full of egos think he would do well.

Cooper and Sunderland could have been a match made in heaven. No idea what he was thinking taking on the Leicester job.

More money than he was getting at Forest perhaps? Decision slightly led by ego thinking it was an opportunity to prove he could make it in the league with a team that had just spanked the championship?

Some talk that he might not even make it to the Forest game.

He is getting a rough ride from many so called Leicester fans.

If I were the Leicester owner I'd see the Forest game as an big opportunity. Win it and Cooper maybe brings some fans around and they can build from there. Lose and the owner can easily sack the coach, at the behest of the irate fans.

Southampton away for them on Saturday, he won't get many better chances for three points. If they win that they have six points from six and their tails will be up ahead of our game.

They're easily capable of staying up.  Don't know what their fans are whinging about really.  Did they expect them to come up and immediately be a top 8 side? Sounds like it.

I work with a guy who watches them home and away, he isn’t moaning and seems relatively accepting of what it is.

I wouldn’t take the majority of forum posts to be reflective of what it’s like in the ground…
