Current Players Thread
Percy tweeted that Pearce was the last.

Also (no idea if true) someone on Twitter from the Wolves end reckons no additional money for them for the England call up.

Is it start/debut?

The only Wolves link I'm bothered about is making him more fired up for Saturday. The money is the money.

Well done to him, he's worked hard and helped keep us up.

Hopefully this exposure improves his game because I think he is taking a few more shots on from becoming a top 6 player.

Anderson called up to the England U21 squad.

Agreed.

I don’t think he’s ever quite got the respect here he deserves.

Errm think we do sing his name, certainly did after the goal. Pretty sure everyone appreciates Chrissy. You have to admit he does have his limitations no matter how good his record is but take him for what he provides.
As for Taiwo, the reception he gets when he comes on is noticeably muted now which isn’t surprising given his form.

Taken from the Athletic:

"Chris Wood now has 16 non-penalty goals in the Premier League since August 2023. That's better than Salah, Palmer and plenty of other high-profile stars. And the only players with more than the NFFC striker have played at least 800 more minutes."

We need more from the players around him.

Wood is (I think) 8 goals from being our top scorer in the premier league (currently bryan roy with 24. That is highly possible this season if he can stay injury free. He might not be the glamorous striker many would love to see but he is damn effective.

If JWP can get up to speed quickly then there's every chance of that happening.

Anderson and sosa also look handy with set pieces so fingers crossed wood will get far better service from deadballs than he has had for the first season and a half.
