Just my observations but i don't think i have seen a game for a long time wherw Elanga AND CHO have clicked at the same time - I may be wrong.

If they did, I feel somebody would get a pasting.

Anderson is already showing he is a class player but Sanghare looks like a fish out of water. It clearly is not through a lack of effort but things are just not happening for him.

Wonder if we’ll see a change in formation after the international break. We’ve got 3 strong CB’s and Williams and Aina are arguably more suited to playing as wing backs. The difficulty would be fitting in two wingers and Gibbs-White. In pre season we played one of Elanga/CHO with MGW and Wood as a front 3. We could play something like:

Sels

Milenkovic Murillo Morato

Aina/Williams Sangare/JWP Anderson Moreno

MGW. CHO/Elanga
Wood

Jota could probably play well behind the striker as one of the 10’s, likewise Anderson could. We played this formation several times in friendlies, as well as against Newcastle, so maybe Nuno might give it a go in the league

Particularly with next game coming up against Liverpool.

We also surely didn't spend £20m on Morato to be a sub.

Defensively we have been pretty good in the 3 league games. We have conceded 2 goals, 1 unlucky and a worldy and to be fair, Sels hasn't had many saves to make. Be interesting against scousers and Brighton as teams aren't cutting us open.

I thought Morato cost £11 million rising to £15 million. I would be surprised to see Sangare start the next game. We were better yesterday after Yates replaced him and there is no way Anderson can get dropped after yesterdays performance. He was head and shoulders our best player.

Yates is good against the bigger teams to win free kicks and break up play. He has been a lot better at driving us forwards this season too. The Liverpool game probably suits him more than games against the likes of Wolves

Fully agree with that Tom.

Weirdly, PSR has done us a massive favour! If Newcastle hadnt been well and truly in the shit with their finances, we would never have had a sniff of Anderson. For me, so far, one of our most outstanding signings since our PL return

Yet he’s won the most tackles in the Premier Leauge in 15, Sangare is doing just fine and getting better.

Anderson stands out as he is box to box, Sanguare just gets in the way and stops play progressing so far so good imho.

Just wanted to mention the two new songs yesterday, I think every player deserves their own recognition but singing about someone going to murder you because they’re from Serbia seems, to me at least, a little tasteless?

Didn’t hear that, assume was an A block ditty. Care to share the gist of it offensive words deleted?

Sangare is doing fine.

I thought if that was Miguel in goal and not Sels he might have saved it.
