Nottingham Forest - Newcastle United

[Red Dog]

A lot to like about this after a shocking start.

[wassy04]

Yeah unexpectedly competitive, wish we'd played a slightly better defence as this feels like it is/was up for the taking.

[Red Dog]

Encouraging to see the pace we are trying to play at, moving the ball quickly. Like what i am seeing of Jota and Sosa, even if they are little green in parts.

[McDurban]

Really like what I am seeing from a team that is pretty much playing with each other competitively, for the first time.

[The reds]

I’m liking this against a near full Newcastle team.

Bruno, Tonali and Joelinton is their first choice midfield

I’d take Abbot off for Sangare and go 4-2-3-1
With Anderson moved more advanced.

[Forest1970]

3 at the back is definitely not our best tactic. Taiwo is 2 yards behind everything especially with Jota and Sosa running like f**k and they are doing great and I thought sosa dead ball placement is spot on. I definitely like our keeper big and imposing and gets down real quick. I'm still not convinced with anderson yet and we really do need another decent central defender.

[BadDog]

Sosa & Jota, Anderson looking good, Awoniyi looking better.

We've been comfortably the better side since the goal and what a free kick from Sosa.

[Fumanchew]

Unlucky for Abbott having seen the goal and the analysis after stream troubles, maybe just a little too much inexperience?

Yeah, I agree. Inexperience exposed there.

[Sausage Roll]

Lovely hit by Jota!

[Red Dog]

Portuguese Grealish!

[Salvatore Matrecano]

Jota the CF we have needed was here all along!
