He's 33 in December and on the decline. Bound to happen, can imagine he's moved on in Jan, definitely released in the summer.

You’d think that he’s kept himself fit over the summer etc he’s definitely improved for us since signing don’t think he needs too many sessions of endless running

There's a big chance it's just extra rest and recovery to look after him. Pre season is intense and your non runners in their 30s don't need the same. He's been scoring and training for 3 weeks straight. Probably only does 3/4 days a week usually.

Let's hope anyway. We shall see tonight.
