Southgate to resign - just confirmed.

Potter could not handle the media intrusion, it goes up ten fold as the England manager. The pressure would kill him.

I know the media want an English manager but I would go try and get Nestor Lorenzo from Colombia. Think his style fits the players we have really well and has the attacking mentality. Also been an international manager for two years so can deal with the pressure. Doesn't care who you are by reputation and if we have two players who play the same position who are excellent he won't try to squeeze them into positions they don't play. He will play one and use the other as a sub, sorry as a game changer.

I honestly think Pep could be tempted.
There is big trouble ahead for Man City and he knows it. We simply have to at least ask.
Panic on the streets of London

What's left in domestic football for Pep? He'll know winning a tournament with England would make him the best coach to have ever walked the planet.

I'd prefer Jurgen Klopp out of the 2, I think he would suit the national setup better than Pep, and from a personal point of view, I prefer watching klopps style of football to Peps.

Think they are both unrealistic but can't hurt to ask. I think someone with experience managing the big names is important.

Pochettino another possibility. Out of work and has expressed his interest in the job before.

I'd settle for Klopp. Either would command instant respect from the players. And we have the players. Its not like the next manager has got to wait 4 years for a decent crop to arrive. Foden, Bellingham, Guehi, Palmer, Mainoo are all going to be around for years.
