Forest need to sell one player before June 30th which will most likely be Murillo giving the European interest valued at 60/70 mill.

MGW last resort sale with similar valuation but both parties dont want that. Interest also in CHO, Tawio and Niakhate but forest don't want to sell.

Both back up keepers available for transfer along with Wozza, Bowler, LOB, Mighten and Dennis.

Omar Richards future yet to be decided.

Yates, Toff and Wood in their final year however Yates new contract expected shortly.

Forest want to side a right sided defended and possibly two centre halves in addition to a striker, GK and an attacking midfielder. We may look at another centre mid.amd full back also.

We have identified some targets from South America.

So a possible 8 players then

Yes
Also said Nuno wants 2 players for every position
Also said we wanted another winger

This is where it need# to work. There are still a number of people involved who all need to be in harmony and work together

Who will make the key decisions this summer?

Ultimately, all the major decisions will be signed off by the Marinakis family, with Evangelos and his son Miltiadis still very much hands-on figures when it comes to the running of the club. But the recruitment team will significantly evolve again this summer.

Pedro Ferreira, previously the head scout at Benfica, has joined Forest and will operate as head of recruitment.

George Syrianos — the man behind the capture of players like Taiwo Awoniyi, Moussa Niakhate and Orel Mangala — has seen his own good work rewarded with a promotion. He will now operate as global technical director, which will see him have an influence not only at Forest but also at the other clubs overseen by Marinakis — Olympiacos and Rio Ave in Portugal.

Marinakis’ long-term plan is still to replicate the model successfully adopted by Brighton, by investing in players who will improve in quality and value with the benefit of Premier League experience. Three of the Syrianos-inspired signings — Awoniyi, Niakhate and Mangala — fall into that category, with the latter set to complete a permanent move to Lyon, following his initial loan switch, in a deal that will ultimately be worth in the region of £30million.

Chief football officer Ross Wilson also has an input, as do the Marinakis family themselves.

Jorge Mendes, the agent, is a close friend of head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, having become his first client in 1996. He has also rekindled his relationship with the Forest hierarchy and will also have a part to play in the club’s transfer business this summer. Forest will hope he can have the same impact as he did at Wolves when Mendes helped to persuade Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota to sign for them when they were a Championship club.

Summer window - Part 2:

What do we need?

Keeper
LB
CB (maybe 2 if we want to switch to 3 CBs or even 3 if we sell Murillo)
Wingers (to provide competition/depth
AM backup for MGW
Forward (a young alternative to Wood/Taiwo that can play out wide or up top)

Sounds good?

Hasn't been announced yet but all indications are it'll happen.

Could Anderson be the support for MGW? I don't know much about him but have read he can play anywhere behind a striker.

Re: Anderson

He was controversially denied a first Newcastle goal on 17 March 2023 at Nottingham Forest when his back-post header was ruled out by VAR.

Don't recall this?

Yes both good points, forgot that keeper. We thinking he's going to be competing for the starter job then?

In that case just the below, I make that potentially 5-6 players plus any replacements if starters leave. I'm getting a bit worried this could be a relaxed and sensible window at this rate!

We'll need one to replace Turner who will be dropping to 3rd place.

I can see Turner heading back to the US of A in order to keep himself in the USMNT mindset
